The program focuses on the pedagogy of development and learning in children's lives from a variety of perspectives in the humanities and sciences: cultural, social, historical, psychological, and educational. The licenses for kindergarten and elementary education can be acquired, and many of our graduates are currently teaching nationwide.

Since 1998, two new daytime courses have been set up: School Education, mainly dedicated to professional teacher training; and Lifelong Learning and Culture, enabling students to consider education problems from various viewpoints (in this course the Art Science Membership Qualification can be acquired). In addition to teaching in schools, our graduates are also now playing leadership roles both in government service and in the business sector. In future, our graduates can be expected to play an active part in the field of lifelong learning, for instance in civic information, culture or sports facilities. The program also offers a night-time course: Teacher Re-education, designed to address practical problems occurring in schools by providing research-based input on educational counselling and crisis management, etc.

The program is committed to the provision of seminars with small numbers of students, offering greater opportunities for students and faculty members to communicate and share opinions with one another. In this traditional way, staff and students can learn from each other, so as to qualify our students to meet tomorrow's demands for cultural and educational development.
