Students will learn information systems technology and multimedia technology that will apply in various fields. Computers of today are not used only as calculators, but also as essential equipment to construct information systems and as an end-terminal to both receive and transmit various information. In keeping up with current information technology, our department does research and education on multimedia technology and information systems technology, specifically computers. We think of our mission as being able to produce engineers who have a thorough knowledge of various information systems and are capable of constructing those systems.

Students will learn information systems technologies such as knowledge information processing, systems science, software technology, and calculator technology, etc. Within multimedia technology students will study sound information, pattern recognition, visual information, and image technology, etc. In order for students to effectively learn these technologies, the curriculum is constructed systematically and contains experiment and drill courses such as Information Systems Testing, Computer Literacy, and Programming. All courses utilize the latest equipment.
