The purpose of education and research at the School of Nursing & Health is to develop human resources with a rich humanity who can act independently and with a high level of ethics, while acquiring solid knowledge and specialized skills based on scientific evidence, and cultivating high practical ability and accurate judgment, through nursing education that respects humanity and practical training that enables students to acquire practical skills.

To achieve the above goals, the School of Nursing & Health is looking for the following students.

Three Components of Academic Ability

  1. Those who possess Japanese and English language proficiency required to communicate and collaborate with diverse people; basic academic knowledge of science and mathematics necessary to understand life phenomena; basic academic knowledge of geography, history, and civics necessary to understand social trends; and basic academic skills required to address issues in the information society.
  2. Thinking, judgment, expression, etc.: Those who can think and judge logically and communicate the results as their own opinions.
  3. Attitude to learn collaboratively with diverse people with independence: Those who have an interest in nursing and are willing to learn actively. Those who have an interest in human beings and changes in the society surrounding human beings, and a compassion for and ability to relate to people.
